As part of Dell's 12 days of deals event, today has some video games and accessories for sale. Halo 4 and Assassin's Creed 3 (PS3 only it seems) are $49.99, a Chrome Xbox 360 controller is $39.99, and the red Nintendo 3DS bundle with Super Mario is $139.99, among a few other things.

I believe the 5% Paypal cashback ends tomorrow as well.

Suggestion taken, although I found out that tax seems to be charged on the $39.99, so the price isn't as good as it seems. I don't think tax is normally charged on prepaid cards.

Oh yay, Dell always seemed to have something nice in their previous sales. Hoping there will be some other good stuff coming up.

My cordless Panasonic phones use some pack that's clearly a series of AAA Ni-MH batteries shrinkwrapped together. I got fed up with how crap they were (and new/crap replacements were like $20 a pop), so I smashed one open and took it's connectors and case. Then soldered together some Eneloops (note: this can be dangerous) in series and stuck the connectors on, then taped the mess togther. Not super pretty, but it's bloody excellent, and easily lasts 10x as long as the old stock packs did.
