For those that don't check Steam regularly, there are some great (imo) deals today worth mentioning.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution - $16.99
This is a third-person shooter where you play as a security specialist named Adam Jensen. You can level up different abilities (known as augmentations), use a variety of weapons and different play-styles. For instance, you can choose to do a rescue mission where you kill everyone in your way, or sneak through it with minimal combat. There are also many different side quests to do. The graphics for this game are very impressive, the story is interesting enough, and the gameplay is great. Overall a great game.
Grand Theft Auto Complete Package - $12.49
This includes GTA 1-4, Liberty City, San Andreas and Vice City. Basically everything. Too many games to describe here, and I'm sure most people know of this series anyway.
Super Meat Boy - $3.74
I actually haven't played this before. But, I've heard from many of my friends that this is a great indie game.
Magic The Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers 2012 - $3.99
If you've played magic before, this game is pretty fun. If you haven't, I've heard it's still pretty fun. The game gives you one of three pre-made decks at the beginning. You can get more cards to customize your deck as you win against computer opponents. The ability to customize your deck isn't as great as the real thing, although it does make things easier for people new to MtG. Aside from the campaign, there are also custom games (both online and offline) where you can do free-for-all, team matches or co-op against a boss. One complaint I've heard, although I haven't personally experienced, is that some people think the game can be a little too hard from the very beginning.
Fallout: New Vegas - $4.99
This is a good, but fairly common deal. I actually haven't gotten it yet as I'm waiting for some kind of GOTY edition with all the DLC's included. From what I've heard, the game is generally very good. Just like Fallout 3, there are many user mods available to change various aspects of the game including game mechanics, character appearances, quests, landscape, etc.
Civilization V - $10.19 (GOTY for $16.99)
Once again, I haven't played this before. I actually haven't played any of the Civilization series. I've only heard that they're quite good. If anyone who has played them feels like chiming in, please do.
Other stuff include Command and Conquer stuff (RA3, RA3:U, C&C4, C&C3:KW, C&C3:TW) for $4.99 each (no package deal ), Driver San Francisco for $24.99, Chronicles of Riddick for $4.99 and some indie games.
