Devil May Cry 3 Question

Hopefully this is the right place for this.

I purchased Devil May Cry 3 on ebay from a guy and the box is greatest hits (red band) but the disk is black band (I think not greatest his). Can someone tell me if there is a way to tell which version of the disk I received?

Does the disc say special edition on it? If it doesn't you got the regular. DMC3 SE is for the most part all GH, but some black band discs do exist because of the collection.

Also you can try playing the game. It would say Special Edition at the main menu.

Compare the SLUS from the case (bottom spine) to the disc. The regular DMC3 is SLUS-20964, the GH/Special ED should be SLUS-21361GH.
