i have a fuji fz45, read some reviews, great little pocket camera. If your interested i would sell it for 75$. 100$ isn't gonna buy you anything great but a great used camera but i'm no expert. Just carry an expert looking camera around in my fz28.
Alright, I'm willing to spend some extra cash if it means getting something decent. Right now I'm using a hand-me-down that's going on four years old. So almost anything I buy will be an improvement.
Olympus Stylus 830, has dual image stabilization, 5x optical zoom, rechargeable litihum ion battery, tons of shooting modes and is pretty small to boot. The biggest drawback is that it uses xd memory cards. I have one and love it. Only $100 from newegg.
ive had this camera for a few months now and i love it! it was on sale for $109 when i bought it but now its listed at $130. i think its the best for that price range
Big Lots has the Olympus Stylus 1040 for $99.99. It is 10 MP, pretty thin, records video, digital image stabilization, 3x optical zoom & 5x digital, I haven't had a chance to use it much but so far I like it. Only real downside is the memory cards: xD or microSD with the xD adapter. It was advertised last week or the week before as "famous name digital camera." If you don't see any in the case ask them if they have the $99.99 camera, only one of four Big Lots had them out The rest had them behind the desk, not even a mention of having the cameras.
First of all people should be asking what your main use will be for the camera. For everyday point and shoot I highly recommend this camera here for the price. I have one and it is great for the price.

In case you haven't bought the camera yet, you can get a really good deal on eBay for it (see here). It's only $110 with free shipping from a power seller and it comes with a 2 gb memory card, a carrying case, a table tripod, and a cleaning kit. The only downside is it might be refurbished. I actually bought one for myself since I've been looking for a camera. You can also use Microsoft cash back on this to save about $9.
