Dimension 4600 bios upgrade

I have a Dimension 4600 with bios version A07. I had some performance issues while playing Guild wars. I'm currently playing on a bfg 6600GT OC AGP. I e-mailed bfg on a solution and they responded by telling me to upgrade my bios to the latest version. I'm wondering if any dell owners out there have successfully upgraded their bios, to give me some instructions on how to upgrade my bios? Should I even upgrade? THX

My specs:
P4 2.66
2GB DDR dual channel
win xp home sp2
 
I don't have any specific info on the 4600, but you can download the latest BIOS update for your model directly from the Dell website. The update comes in the form of a windows executable. You just run it and it checks and updates your BIOS. Pretty simple really. You probably have to reboot after doing this.
