Direct2Drive is having a 30 Days of Deal$ sale, with one deal per day.

I'll try to keep this post updated with each day's deal as the sale progresses.

Current deal:

Two Worlds II - $24.98

From the game's page:

"Get Two Worlds: Epic Edition for FREE when you purchase Two Worlds II today!!!"

Some of these offers may also be available through the IGN PC Store with an additional 10% off using the coupon code: PCSTORE

This is 30th day so this sale should end tomorrow morning.

thanks for the heads up, I was about to get it but I prefer to download my games on Steam
anyone have the list AFTER tomorrow? when does it end?
Haven't seen anything yet. Closes we have is this e-mail. Dead Space 2, The Sims 3, Bulletstorm, Rift, and Civilization IV are coming up at some point, but no idea when or at what discount.

Cool, I have a 20 dollar credit at DD so maybe I can get bulletstorm for free (not worth more than 20 IMO)
do i have to make an account on d2d to buy games on there?
Um... yes?
does the site work similarly to steam?
It does up until the point where you get your games. Steam has/is game manager/downlaoder/DRM software. Direct 2 Drive just gives you a link to download your file(s). But yes, you can redownload as many times as you like.

F.Y.I Bioshock 1 & 2 are both currently $4.99 so you don't have to wait for 2morrows deal for the 75% off. Price match of yesterday's 2k sale on steam.
If anyone wants Bioshock 1 or 2 for Direct2Drive, i can gift you each for $3 on Direct2Drive. pm me
PM sent.
aww. i was hoping for a new sale. this was already on sale yesterday.
Yesterday was Torchlight.

Steam had Bioshock and Bioshock 2 for 75% off on Tuesday, though.
Is it true that Bioshock 2 PC doesn't have 360 pad support even though it's a GFWL game?
This is correct.
Bioshock 2 PC current doesn't natively support X360 Gamepad currently.

Just b/c it has the GFWL logo, does NOT mean it will support the 360 controller.
On the game box or digital distributor's web site for a game, it should say if it supports a controller.

G4WL-supported retail game-boxes usually have a BIG CONTROLLER symbol on it [normally on the back somewhere] that says below it that it supports the 360 Pad.
Bioshock 2 PC [Retail Game-Box] doesn't have this symbol on it.

Thanks. This + securerom = getting it for consoles.

You're very welcome.

But, if I recall - Bioshock 2 PC uses a 15 install limit of G4WL's built-in DRM.

Oh 15 eh... not the usual 5. hmm....

While you can DL your install files, they also have a thing called Gamespy Comrade which is a pseudo-Steam thing which has friends lists, server browsing and auto-patching. It can also scan your PC for other games installed and add them to the games list. I have old drives slaved in my PC which have the install folders from ancient games and the ones I had NoCD exes in will launch. It's *another* download thing, but it automates things.

having no support for a controller isnt really a big problem. you can always download a program like xPadder and map the keys to your gamepad yourself. I personally prefer the mouse for fps games. But i use xpadder for games lik devil may cry and other console-style games. you can set up controller-profiles for each game and its pretty simple to use once you get acquainted with it. also, even if a game has controller support, it usually doesnt work with me anyway since my stupid controller doesnt get recognized as a xbox controller. so xpadder is pretty good for that.
as for the 15 install limit...cmon, are you really gonna reinstall bioshock 2 15 times? i think the game i reinstalled most is Half-Life 2. still, i only reinstalled it around 5 or 6 times.

Forgive me for streamlining my answer. It never occurred to me that anyone actually used Comrade, given the choice. But you are correct, that is an option. I think most people skip it, though, and download directly.

I recently d/l Mass Effect from Direct 2 Drive and I was surprised to see that they're not much pushing Comrade any longer. It's just a little text link at the bottom of the download screen. No big splashy ad at the point of download, encouraging me to use it.
BO for 45 :/ Who's idea of a great deal was that.
It says it was submitted by a Bobby K.
I wouldn't call the sale over.

The Black Ops image is http://www.direct2drive.com/Sites/RET/_img/promos/30days_rightrail_15_2.jpg so it's still part of the sale, though it seems like they're really downplaying it at the moment, probably because the internet figured out the first half of the sale so early and they have bigger games coming on sale now.
I've updated the OP title with this "deal", but it's happened many times before where D2D start a sale or an offer of some sort, and then it just disappears right in the middle with no warning or explanation. I like D2D as a DD service, but this halfassed way they run things drives me nuts. In any case, we'll see how this one turns out.

Remember you can use tell a pal code to get another 15% off so price drops to $38.21.

Great job figuring this out! OP updated with new image links - thanks.
25% off KOTOR? Oh boy...
Yeah, it has been 50% off a few times and even 75% off one or two times as well.

I was curious in Napoleon TW, but they still have it listed as $50 on their site, wtf

I'd like Two Worlds 2 but cant activate it on Steam sadly :(

whoo hoo I"m excited for some of the upcoming sales, I can't wait to see them, hopefully the Total war stuff is the packs and not vanilla games

I've been waiting for Two Worlds II to go on sale since it released digitally.. I would just rather have it on Steam. I'm hoping Steam has it on sale between now and then, if not I will probably get it.
Is this a good deal? Dead Space 2 I mean. I have a ps3 and was wondering if I should get it for that instead.
You might be better off waiting for the PS3 version to hit $30 if you want Extraction. I got the PS3 version for $30 from the EA Insider deal not too long ago.

Question, so Civilization V is supposed to be 40% this week, but the digital deluxe edition is only 29.99, so is it better to get the deluxe edition instead of waiting for the normal edition to go on sale.

Just finished 2W2 yesterday, after 47 hours of play or so.
It's MUCH, MUCH improved over the original.

I got the DVD Euro Import a bit ago from Gogamer, when they had it on sale for $29.90 + shipping.
