Dishonored - Pre-Order Deals

Anyone have any luck with pre-ordering the same game from two different stores, returning one copy and keeping the pre-order bonus? I want the Dishonored Tarot Cards from Gamestop but wouldn't mind owning the Whale Oil USB Lamp from Best-Buy (with a $20 GF to boot). When you return a game, do they let you keep the bonuses?

Some pre-order bonuses have a barcode and are scanned in which is shown on the receipt. Usually you can do this with the ones that don't require a scan in. But to be honest, some stores might even have extras if you shop there enough, and if they have extras they might just give it to you if you buy something there. My stores usually just give me the bonuses because they know me so well.
