Disney Infinity Starter Sets $14.99 @Gamestop (Includes Saga Bundles)

I have never bought a single toys to life game/figure because they're pricey and I just don't get it (I only bought one amiibo and that was as a gift). With this deal, however, I couldn't pass up the opportunity on the Saga and CE bundles. Thanks OP! No way will I buy any other figures still but I like having the ones I got to play with when it's cold or I have some down time and want to try this whole contraption out :)
ToysRUs near me (Leominster MA) is 50% off all packs and B1G2 Free on all figures.

 
Got my reshipment from Gamestop and everything was right. I went to TRU and I hate when you walk in and you know more than the people working there about their own policies. Took advantage on the B1G2 and walked out with the Light FX Vader, Light FX Kylo Ren, and Poe along with the Force Awakens playset (which I had price matched to 11.88 from Walmart) all for under 30 dollars. 

Disney Infinity Question - What are some of the best toy boxes to download? I have been trying to find a list or something so I will not have to try each one before they are not available. 

Hoping for BB to do another run on figures when I had picked some up before for 3 and change after GCU. 

 
Just got most of my order, it shipped in two different tracking numbers but when I got everything I saw that I was missing one of the two PS4 Marvel Collectors Edition was not shipped with it, but on the slip inside it looks like it was with it, I assume they forgot to ship it or the driver forgot to take it out? 

 
Tried to do store order on one using my preorders from another store. The store that had the CE in stock denied the attempt saying that store to store orders is against company policy. I however called the store myself and asked the asshat if store to store orders aren't possible why can preorders be transferred? He had no answer.

Customer service, after a 27 minute wait, had no answers either.

The bottom line, I may be out of luck because the store is an hour away, I cannot make it tonight, I tried paying using my store credit on my preorders, but was denied, so now what?
 
Is TRU still doing B1G2? I got the Saga and Marvel CE and I figure I should get more while they're around.

They were as of yesterday. First time I'd been in a TRU in a couple of weeks. They completely downsized the amount of space devoted to TTL. Looks like Tablets have been expanded to fill the void. 

 
The TRU B1G2 is at least good through the 24th according to the signs. I wholeheartedly expect them to leave the fire sale going until stock is basically gone. The franchise is dead, so there's simply no use in them keeping the inventory on hand. The only reason that Skylanders hasn't been cleaned out is because they are keeping the franchise going. Once they announce that there will be no new game in that series, I expect a B1G? equal to the number of games in the franchise.

Incidentally, all the Skylanders single figs were B1G2 as well.
TRU has been doing that for over 3 or 4 months, gone and come back sometimes. They helped to fill all the rest of superchargers figures and vehicles needed to unlock everything after getting half from 70% sale at Target.

Activision, though an evil publisher, has better experience, strategy and money to backup their IPs unlike those chicken Disney executives

DI didn't fail due to lack of sales or Disney not putting the money into it, it died of Disney's stupidity and nothing more. Way over produced the figures and it killed the franchise. I remember reading the example of Hulk at the time it was cancelled. They sold 1 million Hulk figures which is a huge success. Except they made 2 million figures, which made it a huge failure. This is why DI is no more.
 
Got my Marvel Super Heroes CE. Everything about that box is opened. Outside box, Disney Infinity Starter box, collectors edition statue base box, even the individual figures are cut opened with round clear stickers on them. lol gamestop. but 15 for all of that is great deal. no doubt.

 
Gamestop by me has buy 2 get 3 free on all toys to life, if anyone is looking for figures.
Been that way on and off for over a year. Great deal for the older figures. Averages out to $5 for most figures.
Good if you can find 5 you want in one store, never happened to me. If they can combine stocks from stores nearby, it would be nice.

You can do that yourself...Just buy at one store and return rebuy at another. Or you can ask for a store to store transfer, YMMV. Or you can do what I most recently did. Bought 10 figures online for around $75 (30% off and 10% PUR) and when I got them took them to the store and did a return rebuy and got $32 or so back.

As I walked into the store, I can see the big ass box on the top shelf, super happy...

Handed them the email for pickup and was told they cannot sell it to me because they made a mistake...

Apparently, they have already 'sold' that CE to a customer from another store and they just have not shipped it out yet because they have not found a big enough box...

I told them that is BS since I have the pickup confirmation, the item is in-stock and on the shelf with no sign saying it is not for sale or sold, they need to honor their pickup confirmation and sell it to me...

Well, after arguing for a while they called security to escort me out of the store, without the game I came for.

That's some bs right there. Any way you can talk the manager or someone higher up for some help? That's terrible.

Wow, I'm glad I snagged this deal online instead of having to deal with Gamestop's crazy BS.

Anyway, does anyone know how much time we have left to get the online trophies for 2.0? I still need the 4 player co-op trophy...if anyone else needs it please send me a friend request at jaime__lyn (two underscores). I have PS3 and PS4 versions.

I asked for the DM phone number but was told their policy do not allow them to give out that information.

I asked to speak to the store manager and was told the store manager is 'off the clock' and policy forbids her from speaking to a customer.

I've filed a BBB complain but I doubt anything will actually happen, since the item is likely out of stock everywhere by now.

Go to tellgamestop.com or something like that. Forgot the actual url. It's a feedback for gs experiences. Also call corporate and tell them you had a horrible store experience and want to talk to the district manager. I have done both of those in the past and have received a call from the DM both times.

I don't get why people will spend time complaining to the BBB but not to the company itself. Sure if you exhaust all viable options for resolving it with the company directly I guess a BBB complained is the last option but those go nowhere 95% of the time.

Missed this online. Saw a Marvel CE at local GS with the 14.99 sticker and snagged it. They were happy to see it leave as it had been sitting on the floor for months. Huge is right! Awkwardly carried it back to the office.

Yeah... I ordered a XBone 3.0 Starter, it arrived, and decided to return it. Because I paid via paypal, had to deal with customer service. As soon as they saw what the item was, they told me they'd issue a full refund but didn't want the item physically returned...

Retail really doesn't want these.

The day after this deal went live I did a store pickup for a game stop about 30 miles from me. 2.0 PS4 Collectors Edition. My friend lived near there so I put in his info so he could get it.

When he arrived at the store they checked his email and tried to just give him a 2.0 disk. The email didn't say collectors edition which is an error in their system. He called me while in store and I told him it's a huge box and they are wrong. I assume they sold it already. They told him the starter pack was the correct item and he said he got it. a few days later we were able to meet up and to my disappointment I saw it wasn't the correct item. I then saw that the box was already open. So I open it up and it's missing the game itself. Ugghhhh.

I went straight to their online survey as they were closed and put them on blast. Got a call today to contact the store tomorrow because they received a complaint and their store manager will be there to see if he can square it away.

He better make it worth it for all this trouble especially having to drive 30 miles there.

Man, is it really worth it? 30 miles? You should talk to manager and see if they can ship it to you.

 
Checked last night TRU still had B1G2 on the figures, however the figures were all back to $14.99...and I really didn't want 3 of the same figure at the price or even 1 and 2 of the same figure. Stock was limited, more or less all TRU exclusives and Barbosa. Hopefully the price comes down or another TRU has figures I'm still missing and willing to pay $5 for.

As for GS BS, I've had great experiences at GS and really wtf experiences there.

 
I picked up Disney Infinity 3.0 Star Wars Saga edition for PS4 just now.  I don't think it was shown as available at this particular Game Stop when they originally went on sale.  It was available then closer to me but by the time I decided I wanted it was gone.  

Annoyed I forgot the game I wanted to trade today.
