Does anybody play older games in multiplayer

CAGiversary!
I know this qustion has probably been asked before but I just gotta know. I been playing a few old games in multiplayer (CoD, BFV, C&C Generals). I'm surpised that ppl are still playing them because newer multiplayer games are always coming out the ying-yang. So, my question is: do you stillold games in multiplayer and if so, what are your reasons? Please give good responses. Thank you

Star Craft on occasion. Counter Strike now and again. Diablo 2 all the time.

For Star Craft and Counter Strike, I play those because I'm used to them and know how to play and do reasonably well. Diablo 2, well, I don't think theres a similar game that matches it for gameplay. Titan Quest was close, but a lack of closed servers ruined the multiplayer.

All the time. Battlefield 1942 and TFC are still more enjoyable than their respective sequels. And in the case of the latter, that says a lot because Team Fortress 2 fucking owns.

CS, Day of Defeat mostly. I like the older day of defeat cause I think it looks better in a way. With source everything is crisp and doesnt look right. Almost like the bad graphics make the textures look that much better for the older version. I prefer source for CS though.

I still fire up Unreal Tournament from time to time... it runs on my laptop so it's a game that's always with me.

Return to Castle Wolfenstein and its variant, Enemy Territory. I've always liked the way the game "felt" as well as all of its different (and fun) character classes. I love medic. :p

I have been interested in playing Halo: Combat Evolved and UT2004. I might also, get back into Warcraft 3 single player.

Me and a couple of co-wokers usually get on Hamachi about once a week and have a gaming session where we play oder games like NOLF2 Co-op, Serious Sam Co-Op, and Brothers in Arms 2 Co-Op/Skirmish, and we play the Worms games a lot, too. (check my xfire profile to see some of the other games I play)

SC all the way

I also play CS, TS(the specialists) and other games, im all about the oldgames!

Cause im a :newbie: when it comes to new games!

Anyone ready for SC2??

I just finished building 6 old P3 machines that i found from a company that were being thrown out, fixed them up, and started to play 6-player game of BG1 (we are about half way done)

I still play a lot of Warcraft 3 Frozen Throne (favorite game of all time).

Diablo 2 sometimes, Starcraft sometimes. Mostly just Warcraft 3.

It's not that old, but I play Tron 2.0 online occasionally. Really only against my bro, since I know nobody else who owns it, nor is online.

I play Quake 3 Arena from time to time. But I don't know how to get the add-on maps. There's so many websites with mappacks, but I don't know which mappack is the definitive one.
