Does the digital copy Starcraft include battle.net?

sure does

it also gives you brood war for free, regardless if you ever bought a Brood War in the past

it's updated to the latest 1.15.2 patch, too

I recommend using Chaoslauncher to play the game

mainly for the plugin called CPU Savior. SC has this problem where if you run the game, your CPU will be running at 100% (or 50% in my case, since I have a dual-core processor), which wastes energy and kills your CPU. So CPU Savior reduces it to like 0 or 1% or something.

Just unzip to folder C:/Program Files/chaoslauncher or something similar (it works best when it's outside the SC folder and in another folder) and open up chaoslauncher.exe, choose which plugins you want to run and hit Start, and the game will start with the plugins enabled.

It's also very safe to use and everything (professional korean gamers as well as a good portion of SC players use it when they play on battle.net). However, people have reported getting virus alerts and whatnot on antivirus like Avast!, but these are proven to be false positives, so it's all good.

anyways, have fun and good luck
