Dpad problems

Hey guys, I went to play Tales of Eternia today and moving around was getting annoying. I did some testing and it seems as if my left direction button isnt responsive every time i push it(enough times to notice).

Any idea how i can fix this?(and ive had it for over a year no warrenty)

 

[Technique]

You could try opening the PSP up and see if the DPAD is out of place. My DPAD was acting a little strange too, but I opened it up, took out the DPAD and then put it back in and it's fine now.
