DriveClub server connection problems?

So when I got home from work this morning, I turned on my PS4 to see if DriveClub was ready for me. It appeared it was. So I started it up only to find out all of its "online" features were not working. I earned about 10 trophies while offline. I was still connected to PSN so I am certain its just the Driveclub's network side of things. Is anyone else having this problem?

ahh cool find. and i think it's pretty fun. i can't really do much with the cars i own right now cuz of the issue.  just race, race, and do more racing. here's a vid of my 1st play of it if you care to watch. it shows the connection error while i'm racing.

9 hours later and it's still down , all drive / no club

It's hard to believe they delayed this a year. For what? The game comes out feeling incomplete and broken, and they failed to deliver on the PS+ version.

Don't have a PS4 but I've been following this. Pretty crazy. I'm kind of surprised they're still selling it; Square-Enix took down digital copies of A Realm Reborn until the server problems at launch were resolved.
