DS Select Button Question

I just randomly noticed this today. I don't think I have ever used the select button in a game on my DS. Is there anything that even uses it? And I do realize this is the stupidest topic ever.

you can use it in animal crossing to bring up the chat menu.

In Brain Age you can hold it when you press "Brain Age Check" and it will let you select which tests you would like to take when calculating your brain age.

I was oddly thinking about this exact same question today. Some games I have that use the select button are Castlevania (switch between map and profile), Electroplankton (switches various things), and Jump Superstars (randomly chooses things in menus).
