You should probably mention its a digital download for PC. I first assumed it was the console version.
also might want to add that it's for amazon, and that the $5 credit that a lot of people netted in nov and dec of last year works on DNF to drop it to 99 cents.
Last month if you bought certian downloads from amazon they would send u a code for 5 bucks off a "bestselling game from 2011" that could be used in jan 2012.
If you don't have a code, it is too late cause it was a thing that was only in effect last month.

Hm...free GTA IV. But is it worth the hassle of Securom, Rockstar social club registration, Games For Windows Live registration, etc? That's a lot of 1 star reviews on that page.
Doesn't make sense ... I'm hoping they restock ... otherwise it was a ridiculously low number they sold considering this went live at midnight and I doubt most people were just hanging out on their computers waiting for it.
They can't just open up a box of new codes they've got lying around and throw them online. Those sorts of restocks have taken at least four or so days when I've seen Amazon have to do them. Plus, they aren't making money giving the game away for a $1. I wouldn't hold my breath for a restock.
Well, assuming Tony is reading this, hopefully they're clearing out all the crappy games and can add a few more new games and drop a couple to the $10-$5 level in the next few days. Another sweet addition would be to add the Deus Ex DLC as an option for coupon use
Also of note, these were listed on the Bestselling Games of 2011 page for download, so the coupon should apply here as well (Prices listed are after coupon):

Isn't there somewhere on Amazon that you can see what credits you have on your account? I know I've used it before to track MP3 d/l credit and it had others listed there too but I can't find it now.

Go to any movie in the instant video store. Underneath the top section is a link to use a gift card, next to which is a link to check your balance.
Duke singleplayer is pretty funny and isn't bad if you've never played a Duke game (not "open" levels in the new one) - Well worth 99 cents.
I bought GTA IV from a different sale on Steam, but isn't working well. How do you run it in compatibility mode if it is from Steam? Did the auto search and none of the Steam games came up.

it shows I have a $5 balance, but how do I get the code?
I came to this threat specifically for the "I'd buy this for a dollar" duke quotes. Thoroughly disappointed. Just out of curiosity, how many of you CAGS are actually old enough to have enjoyed the old duke games? Or is that too off topic?
