Yes, that's precisely what I said. A lone digital code is exactly the same as buying a full Blu-ray + DVD + Digital copy package at retail, so let's all just charge the full price for the codes! That way, we can all get our movies completely free!

There is zero value added with owning two versions of a physical copy and a full, untouched code versus the split Google codes offered here.

He's slow replying to his messages, however his posts are misleading and lack information. When I bought from him last week, he failed to disclose that some of his codes are InstaWatch, and then on top of that he didn't list the video quality of the stuff he's selling, until I pointed it out to him just the other day. He had a mix of SD and HD codes listed under the heading HDX, without indicating what was what. His more recent post shows the video quality, but that's only after I made a stink about it. He screwed up with his listing, and I have to pay for it. Then he tells me I can have another code for free, and 20% off my next purchase with him. I took the free code so the transaction wasn't a total loss for me, but I won't ever be buying from him again. I have a one strike policy when it comes to buying from online sellers. Burn me once, and you lose me as a buyer forever, and I buy a lot of codes too. Over 700 codes over the past five months.

The code he sold me was the Superman 5-movie collection for $8. As mentioned before, it was an SD quality InstaWatch code, which he failed to disclose in his listing and while we were messaging back and forth. It's gonna be pretty sweet watching the pixels on my 65" OLED. :whistle2:

I took the free code so the transaction wasn't a total loss for me, but I won't ever be buying from him again. I have a one strike policy when it comes to buying from online sellers. Burn me once, and you lose me as a buyer forever, and I buy a lot of codes too. Over 700 codes over the past five months.

The code he sold me was the Superman 5-movie collection for $8. As mentioned before, it was an SD quality InstaWatch code, which he failed to disclose in his listing and while we were messaging back and forth. It's gonna be pretty sweet watching the pixels on my 65" OLED. &

I also recommend avoid buying from tenchi7.

He may be slow at responding, but this was a transaction from December 2018.

He has messaged me today, and offered the codes or a refund, along with an explanation.

It ultimately gives you the same movie but the seller can return the disc for a refund and your instawatch copy would disappear with it.

If he decides to return his purchase to Walmart, then the license is removed from my Vudu library. Some people on other forums, FB groups, and Reddit have mentioned that Vudu can yank the license whenever, since it's complimentary. There was some chick on MeWe that was contacting Walmart support, and narcing on other IW sellers. On MeWe, most people use their real names, so I guess Walmart can cancel codes based on who purchased them??? She was a shady b!tch though. I bought once from her, had a bad experience, and then never again.

Thanks for the info. I had no idea this is how Instawatch worked, although I wondered what prevented people from buying an instawatch item and returning it later. I assumed Walmart would deduct the digital cost of the movie from the refund, but I guess not.

What do you mean I waited 8 months? What was I supposed to do? I posted about it and told the mods. Today, he issued a refund.

Also, I'm not the one who was complaining about instawatch. That was never my issue.

I've been fine working with tenchi7 as well and got a few codes in the past. Sounds like some frustrating shenanigans recently, though. I wouldn't write the seller off completely but it does sound like some customer service and misinformation issues.
