Well, my cable company is doubling the monthly cost of my DVR so I'm done with that for awhile. I may eventually go with a TiVo but I'm not willing to pay for that at the moment.
I'm looking for something to hold me over. I no longer own a VCR so I'm looking at getting a DVD Recorder. I see they range in price from $50-$200 basically. IDC about upconverting, HDMI, etc. I just want a unit that I can easily record stuff onto to use in my classroom.
Anyone have any recommendations? I know this is kind of an unused technology but I'm interested anyway.
