According to DVDtalk.com the Eternal Sunshine 2-disc edition isnt that worthwhile in comparison to the original release.

Has anyone been able to find the damn Karate Kid box set? I looked at three different stores today and couldn't find it. I ended up getting the 2 disc True Romance set for 19.99 cause I didn't want to come away empty handed.
 
Has anyone upgraded to the Goodfellas 2-disc after owning the original release?
I have the one disc but its a pain in the ass having to flip to side B in the middle of the movie.
I will probably upgrade regardless, its just a matter of finding something else I want to own from that 2/20 list.

In the past, I have gotten DVD's from Best Buy and Circuit City for 7.50 in 2/15 deals, same with getting single DVD's for 10 bucks in 2/20 deals.

Maybe it just depends on the sale, but I'm pretty sure you can buy one for 7.50, because I've done the same in the past without any problems. Call your local BB and ask to be sure.

I never owned the 1 disc "GoodFellas", luckily. I was at my local Wal-Mart tonight, which is closer to me than CC, and PM'd "Fargo" (sp. ed) and "GoodFellas" (2-disc). Two of my absolute favorites which had previously been released in bare-bones editions. Glad I waited -- on both. :D

I think when Disney places them in "the vault" it means they won't press/manufacture anymore copies, after so-and-so date -- but the stores still have their remaining stock on the shelf to clear out.

Exactly. Technically "The Tigger Movie" is supposed to be in "the vault" if I remember right, yet many stores have copies sitting on their shelves gathering dust like mad. :lol:

The Union Square Circuit City was totally empty. I was able to find the Punisher, Dawn of the Dead, and Bourne Idenity, but I really wanted Hellboy and Eternal Sunshine of the Mind. I take it this deal is not replicable online someplace?
 
I found out that there's a DVD missing from the 2 for $15 sale, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Season 1. This is the old-school version with 4 never-seen epsiodes on it with the 5 episodes from the first season. I was at BB today, and saw the 2 for $15 tag in front of it with that DVD's sku on it, so I knew this was the right one. I realize it's a little late for anyone else to get it, but I remembered not seeing this or I would've gone out on sunday to get it. It's $10.99, for those that missed it. It's in the Family section of DVD's so you can find it easier. Here's a pic for those of you that want it:
