I got the e-mail as well, but there really wasn't anything worth noting...standard trade-ins for MW2, giving $40 credit for a new game is nothing new, annd an extra car for Forza 3. Meh.

Borderlands tiv is good for people that got the game for $39 from Walmart earlier.
FS tiv is apparently $18 for 360, $22.80 for PS3 as of 8/27/2009 on tivs.ca

Well, maybe. I know that a lot of people are still trying to get a copy period. I'm sure it'd be no trouble at all to unload a copy here on or kijiji for $50 or more.
