EBGames - Membership rewared - extra trade credit?

I renewed by Edge card yesterday.  The clerk told me I'd get a coupon for an extra $10 credit, and it would work "even if you trade in a game only worth one cent".

The coupon itself says "standard EB Games trade rules apply", though.  What does that mean?  Manual must be included?  Only for PS3, XBox and Wii?  $8+ only?  What is coupon all about?

I've brought in a stack of trash each year, asked them what the TiVs on each was, and traded in the worst for the $10 + the trash TiV. As long as you have trash to get rid of the yearly subscription is basically $5 because this coupon pops everytime you subscribe.

Anything EB stocks is fine, so DS/Wii/360/PS3 are probably the oldest stuff. If your game is missing the box/instructions I think EB normally just knocks a couple bucks off the TiV. But I'm not sure about how that works cause I won't even buy trash if it's missing something.
