How do I get those sticky yellow EB stickers off my case?
Buy a bottle of Goo Gone. They're usually $5 or less. They last forever and are a good purchase if you buy lots of used games. You can find them at drug stores or places like Wal Mart.

When is the EBgames morning update?
Usually between 7am and 8am eastern time, Monday through Friday. There are no updates on some holidays.

How do I know the update happened?
The number of in stock games will drop to zero, then rise back up. This takes less than a minute.t

I had game X in my cart, but it disappeared while I was checking out. What happened?
Someone else beat you to it. Just because an item is in your cart, doesn't mean it's reserved for you until you finish checking out.

How do you know how many copies of game X are in stock?
When the item is in your cart, change the quantity to a large number (like 99). When the page refreshes, the quantity will be reduced to the number available.

Are there any coupons I could use to save money?
CAG15 gives you 15% off used merchandise.
CAG16 gives you 16% off $50 or more worth of used merchandise.
SAVER gives you free shipping on orders containing used games and accessories. For some reason, Gameboy games do not work with SAVER.

How do I find links to games that are currently out of stock?

God of War:

I just beat this game recently. Simply awesome and would have been worth it at $50. At $13.50 A/C you need to pick it up NOW.

God of War is an amazing game. Get this if you have not already purchased it. As mentioned, totally worth $50.
 
For those ordering the GBC games that come with the built in rumble pack a word of advice:

Apparently they get nasty corrosive stuff around the battery contacts eaisly, i am not sure what this stuff is, but it doesnt look like it should be there, its brown in color. Its not spilled liquid either since i found it in all 4 of my rumble pack games. The game will function perfectly with this problem i am assuming, however since i have the tools to open up game carts i went ahead and opened them up and cleaned them out.

I ordered a top gear pocket with rumble and it was messy at best. Ordered a warriors of might and magic and that was in typical used gbc condition (it was fine).

It really looks like ebgames sends the worst of their inventory through the website, i have even gotten broken gbc games over time, and i have never seen a broken one until then (at least i am able to return them to my local store without problems). I also think a lot of people purposly trade in non working games to EBgames so that accounts for some of what we are finding, since ebgames will basically accept anything for trade in.

Hey, does anyone know if the stock is updating more than once daily now? I've been looking out for classic NES GBA games, and there's three up now (metroid, Zelda 2, Xevious) that weren't up following the 6 am-ish update this morning.

look back one page.you can see I already listed in yesterday update.i guess no cheapassgamer bought it because those games can be easily found in the cicuit city or sear clearance for much cheaper,less risk of bootleg or dead cart,new and guarantee complete.

I don't see anybody bootlegging Konami Racers since it isn't worth much. EB has been sucking lately for defective games. I had that problem but I called and they sent me a prepaid envelope and refunded my money within a week for a bad Sonic 3 Advance. Racing Gears costs too much for my tastes for a used game, but it is supposed to be really good so I say go for it if you really want it buy it. EB did right by me in the returns department.

Thx,for the info.It will put my mind in ease now.I will order one for my friend.Man,he got a huge want list of gameboy advance because he luv playing gameboy micro.He knows that I have a hard time deciding a 3rd game during the buy 2 get 1 free deal at gamestop or eb so he gave me a list
 
JUST A FRIENDLY WARNING ABOUT EB's N64 INVENTORY:

As a result of the thin Dreamcast section, I've come to notice a similar pattern evolving with N64. About 4 months ago the Dreamcast section on EBGames became ragingly huge, with tons of titles at various price ranges and seemed to be ever-populated each morning with more. Slowly but surely EB pulled in more and more DC games from stores, sold these games off, and liquidated their inventory. Now, it's the N64's turn. Right now we have a massive influx of games from stores but soon this inventory is going to be sold off and EB will discontinue carrying N64 merchandise.

Just wanted to warn anyone who is considering an N64 purchase - make it now or you may not be able to purchase that game after all.

I have to say I'm surprised to see that game lasted for so long. I've spent weeks waiting for it to come in stock, so I scrambled for my card when I saw it in. Little did I know I had over an hour and a half to get my order in. Now I feel kinda bad for kicking the dog out of my way :)
 
Bleh... got a crappy Movie Gallery rental copy of Burnout 2 today. And no where to exchange it in-store, so I guess I'll have to wait for it to show up online again.

I wish they would stop taking trade in's on those...althougth I know they won't. Nothing sucks more than opening up your package and seeing front and back covers, then checking the disk only to find it mauled by disk shields and bar codes!
 
 
I manage to snag another Mario Kart w/bonus disk.I hope to upgrade my previous scratch up version.Man,it seem like I'm turning in to the mourning update guy,listing all the game for the past week.

Good luck to you. I've had to return both of them that I got as being defective cause they either wouldn't boot or wouldn't load a race. I thinking I might just wait this one out till it goes to $20 new and pick it up.

Practice make perfect.I used to be slow grabing these stuff.Now I'am lighting quick picking these stuff and I could view all of the games on all platforms in 5-7 minutes.The copy and paste slow me down a bit.You can have my old copy if new copy is in better condition.I doubt you will want it since the front side is all scratch up.

Really?I never received a defective copy for a long time.All the used game I received all work except for some strange reason the 3 of the 11 world of outlaws I pick up in stores didn't work.I love those red neck game.It almost payed cost for my xbox 360.


Anyway,received two Shin Megami:Nocturne,both included the soundtrack.One of them is missing a manual cover and both case art is scratch up.

Well I bought the Castlevania Double pack yesterday, and according to the email I got this morning it has shipped.
 
I just received the second copy of Metroid Fusion the first one I ordered was defective. It is in worse shape than the first one EBGames sent me this one doesn't work at all. lol

I just called my local EBGames store and they told me they have the game in stock. I am going to see if I can get the game exchanged for a working copy. I am considering not purchasing any more used GBA games on EBGames website great prices and excellent return policy but too much of a hassle to get a 100% working copy.

I just returned a GBA copy of Namco Museum to the store that arrived DOA. There is no way they tested that game before they shipped it out.
 
I just got my Billy Hatcher and 2 Wavebirds.

I ordered the Nonplatinum Wavebirds, but still got one Platinum. The controllers look used, could use a little cleaning, but otherwise extremely pleased!

Question: Do the platinum Wavebirds have a Platinum receiver?

The Billy Hatcher came in a DVD case, not a Gamecube case. I'll give them credit for trying. I just so happened to have extra Gamecube cases.

For you people who are looking for Mario Kart, I have one extra copy. It was bought brand new and is gem mint as can be. Played once. Case touched maybe twice. Once to open, once to get the game out. Disk has been in a CD case for over a year without being touched.

The platinum receiver is the same color as the other ones. I haven't been here for awhile (though I did manage to get Racing Gears Advance today, thanks CAG), but what is the deal with Mario Kart? Is it getting hard to get?? Is it only the one with the bonus?? Inquiring minds want to know!
