Anybody can answer my question as to why I no longer see the EBgames pics?
I see them fine. I wonder if it's your browser, perhaps?
You guys feel comfortable buying PO games that aren't guaranteed complete?
Not for $30 I dont. I try to limit my po playstation games to $10 or under. I picked up Metal Slug the other day for about $12 af/c just cos its a pretty rare find, and I want to play it as much as collect it. I get most of my ps1 games in b&m stores, and then I only pick them up if their complete. I turned down a disc only Rival Schools at a gamestop the other day that was only $15. But the $2.99 and under section for PS1 on ebgames.com is my friend! :D
You guys feel comfortable buying PO games that aren't guaranteed complete?
Meh... I'm still bothered by the fact that my GC Tetris Worlds isn't complete, bought that in store a year ago. Didn't know anything about the whole "case and manual included" thing back then, and even now, both copies of Luigi's Mansion they have in-store are lacking manuals. Wondering if they would give me a manual for it if I asked them.
You guys feel comfortable buying PO games that aren't guaranteed complete?
Not at all actually. There are times I have taken a chance and got lucky (scored a complete Intelligent Qube from EB.com). Other times I am not quite as lucky (disc only Suikoden II). I usually only buy games over $20 used from EB if they are harder for me to find. I know a lot of people want Einhander though. Fortunately, I got a new copy years ago.
Frankly I'm really surprised these games weren't made into Platinuum Hits titles. There's a lot more crap out there that made the cut than these two.
If they can still easily sell copies at $50, they're going to keep the game at $50, regardless of how many units it moves. Once it's no longer an easy sell at $50, they'll produce it as a Platinum Hit.

Its a good looking, fun shooter. I got a jap copy on ebay a while back for about $12, but now I cant play it. I had a slide tool and swapmagic that I used to play it on my old ps2, but that died and now I have a slim ps2. And I used to have a pro action replay dealy that I used to play imports on my ps1, but I cant for the life of me find it now. So my japanese Einhander sits ina drawer collecting dust. =(

But if the game is no longer in print, (which I assume these are not,) the publisher gains nothing from keeping it at $50. Used copy profits don't ever come to the publisher's door.
Two Words: Absolutely Wrong. Period.
That's three actually, and two punctuation marks. :)
Anybody can answer my question as to why I no longer see the EBgames pics?
Perhaps you're using Firefox and/or you have some kind of adblock enabled. It could be that your using spybot or something to the effect as well and you dont have it set to allow you to see certain things. I'm no expert though so those are just guesses.

Wow, it just updated again in the past few minutes. Appears to be all the same stuff. Mr. Update Button Guy apparently got a little jittery.
woah, anyone's PS2 section just spaz?
SNES did that for a second.

Thank God for an early-ass update... now I can get ready for work. More importantly, I actually picked something up.
Shows up as $4.99.
A lot of them are doing that. Lost Kingdoms II was reported as 7.99 and that is showing now 9.99. Odd.

The only difference is some things are $2.00 more.
Besides PSO, what could you play?
Probably nothing out of the box, but I believe you can grab GCN tunnelling software and, with a little effort, play any LAN-multiplay supporting games over the internet.

Yeah, I think it works for Kirby's Air Ride too. If memory serves me right the software was called WarpPipe.
I'm trying to decide if I should buy the following games

Zoo Keeper ($11.75 ac)

Starfox Adventures

$9.75 ac

or

Armed & Dangerous

$6.00 ac
I think Star Fox Adventures is a great buy at that Price. I know it was criticized for all of the backtracking fetch quests, but I enjoyed it. It may not have been what we were all hoping for as Rare's SwanSong for a Nintendo home console but it's no Superman 64 or ET.

Thank God I snagged it up before it re-updated, got a hell of a deal on that bad boy, $6.42 shipped.

This was a great DS update today! If you don't have Feel the Magic, it is short but well worth $7.50.

Also in stock is Sprung (got one myself) for $6 ac . . . oops, now OOS!

Check out Klonoa GBA for $6 ac . . . oh wait, I decided to order it for my nephew . . . now gone.

That happened to me last week. There was a 2 dollar discrepancy on an N64 ready to Rumble game (one was 4.99 and one was 2.99). When I looked further I noticed one had the manual, the other didn't. It appears if a game doesn't have the original packaging it's 2 dollars less than the same game with the packaging. That's one thing I like about EB's website vs. Gamestop's Website; they tell you if a pre-played game has the original packaging and manual. Gamestop's just says you may or may not have these items on their pre-played games.

I missed feel the magic. i'm going to get a DS soon, so i'm going to buy a few games before i actually get it.

Didn't notice that... and LK2 has been long gone, so I can't see what it said. I guess we'll find out when it arrives.

How would they really tell you though? Unless there's only one copy, or all copies listed are in the same condition, I don't see how they can match your order to the cheaper copy. I can't see them giving different item numbers to games in different conditions.

Of course, your above scenario is also an older generation. They don't guarantee manual/case for those. So GC should be fine.

I went ahead and bought both Armed & Dangerous and Starfox Adventures. Couldnt quite pull the trigger on Zoo Keeper for $14.99 bc. It'll prob be less than $10 bc before too long.
