EBGames Pre-Order Questions

Argh crap.
The EBGames (1) I preordered from doesn't have Mario Kart DS.

However, the EBgames (2) a few blocks from my house has Mario Kart DS.
Is it possible for me to just go to EBGames (2) that has it, buy it, and then cancel my pre-order over at the EBGames (1), even if MKDS has already been released?

EDIT: If I pre-ordered at EBGames (1), is it possible for me to pick it up at EBGames(2)?

yes, just cancel the preorder from (1), you get credit, and can use that for whatever you want.
