what is the email address they use when they send out registration confirmation emails? i need it so they can bypass my filter.

Where is the filtering happening? If it's being done by your email app, just exit the program when you're expecting the confirmation message. Then use webmail to either read and reply to the message or note the address to make the needed adjustment.
