You know, with your friends and stuff: getting some guys and girls together, filming them going at it. Have you mused as to what it would turn out like? I'd be down for it, though I question my ability to erect my pen0r on cue, and as such, would rather direct.

Honestly, who hasn't thought about doing a little porn on the side? It just looks like so much fun except when there's 2 dudes in the scene - that's the wrong kind of teamwork...

are you talking about porn for profit, or just porn for your personal collection? someone should send out trophies for being able to talk chicks into going on camera. Porn for profit is too much work and coordination, but personal porn vids are always a welcome addition to have in the collection.
 
I've done a few shoots... and unless you're getting into the very popular sites/movies, the profit margin isn't that high. And definitely isn't worth it, considering the people you'll be working with.
 
i dunno, that HBO series made it look pretty darn appealing, and the people didnt seem all that creepy.

of course, they mainly dealt with the high budget stuff, and im sure the PR machines were working overtime to make it look good.

well the operating cost can't be that high. all you need is a video camera, a computer, some ky jelly, a good money shot and a hi speed connection to stream. set you camera up, stream your video, and post a link on CAG to drum up some business...we're cheap but we'll shell out a couple of bucks to support one of our own.

Doing porn can be good money if you do it correctly. The money isn't so much in it for women (to be honest, they don't need a lot of skill except for the occasional moan).. however a man that can get it up at command and keep it up through a grueling shoot (and it really is pretty grueling) is a rare commodity.

Before you decide to try out, think about the particulars.. you're having intercourse, in front of roughly 15-25 people as well as cameras, being told what to do when and trying to fake pleasure while really having none if possible. Its much tougher than you'd think.

All that being said, I usually pull down 5K-10K a shoot now (although I rarely shoot), its great money if you really spend time doing it.

Oh yeah, don't go the internet route, it doesn't pay as well.

Well, I'm glad at least one person agrees with me on this.
MookyJooky, it's more how and why they are doing it than the fact that they are. I'm sure that there are a few polite PMs that were shot, but I have a feeling that a couple of them are utterly disgusting, rampant with disrespect, vulgarity and misplaced sense of entitlement.
