I've just been having this intense desire to play this badass game again. There was a store someone posted where the 2 pack was being sold fairly cheap ( a while ago, anyway) but I can't find it. Does anyone have a good deal on it?
 
Nobody who used to have it in-stock does anymore (GoGamer was the last I saw). Retailers probably got cleaned out by eBay resellers when the 2-pack started hitting $20+. Probably best to just camp eBay until a low BIN shows up.

I know the store you're talking about, cause that's exactly when I bought my copy. I wish I could remember the name... discount software... software something...
 
I'm pretty sure I saw this a while back at a dollar store for...a dollar, I didn't pick it up, I wanted the manuals that come with the games, they're hilarious, the double pack is all disc.
 
Urgh. Not at outpost (only the MAc version). You'd think that an old PC game like this would still be easy to find. I remember seeing the double pack at Target once but I didn't have any money, so it figures everywhere'd stop selling it. . I feel like an ass.

And yes, those manuals are sweet.

can anyone remember? That sounds familiar. It was like, $5 or something too if I'm not mistaken.
 
I'm pretty sure Fry's has it. It might not be with the other PC games since it'll be cheap. It'll be with all the impulse buy crap at the checkout line. Maybe you can have the Software dept look in their computers. This is all assuming you have a Fry's near you...Maybe check out eBay?

Well you canj always download it off online....I dot aht when games are not available in store which technicly is not illegal.
 
I've seen the 2 pack at Wal-Mart for $9.99 I think. It was mixed into the bargain games section with gems such as Illegal Street Racing, Convenience Store Tycoon, 10 Billion Fonts. You know the section I'm talking about.

Snag at least the first one for $5. It's well worth it. GL hunting
 
The last place I saw the Fallout double-pack was at Wal-Mart but that was a few months ago. You could take a look there.

I was extremely lucky and got my double-pack from K-Mart for 25 cents about two years ago. It's probably the best overall deal I've ever gotten on a game (or two in this case).
 
fall out tactics is still my favorite..shame that fallout 3 got axed :(..someone probably mentioned it...but have u tried amazon? i got FOT for $11 shipped..NIB, never know friend :)

Last I heard, Bethesda was doing it.

I have a friend who says he has a copy(he "forgot" about it). I'll probably take his and rip it to my computer since it was made before the days of STEAM. But Kayden, man,I can't believe you don't like it. :shock:

Thanks to everyone who had suggestions though, and just use this as a thread to appreciate how awesome the game was/is.
 
Ah, makes me feel so good that I have all three Fallouts boxed and mint/completed ^_^.

Now I actually feel like playing them over, my what great games.

Man fallout my first CRPG - played that game to death.

Bethesda working on Fallout 3?? When did this happen? I last heard that Black isle (not sure) was working on Fallout 3 but the company went bankrupt.

Although, I'm sure Bethesda can pull it off.
 
I know Game Informer mentioned Bethesda was working on Fallout 3 in their unveiling of Oblivion issue a long time ago. I think they mentioned it would use the Oblivion engine, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

Also speaking of Fallout Tactics, are there any games similar to that? That game was awesome. I enjoyed the other 2 Fallouts, but I liked the real time combat in Tactics.

Nah, I'm not parting with any of this. Its the pride and joy of my PC collection. Maybe I can take pictures of it and tease you with all its goodness :p

Becoming a porn star was fallout 2, wasn't it? And I seem to remember it becoming an actual perk. Made me giggle quite a bit.

I've got the 2pak (Fallout/Fallout 2) on my TL for $5 (shipping not included at that price, so $7 shipped). Discs are mint. Didn't even play Fallout 2 yet.
