Shipping is $1 and I preordered Ninja Gaiden and got it I think 2 days after their ship date. There's also usually a $5 off coupon floating around, making it a better deal. I would like to preorder these but I have almost $150 in credit at gamecrazy and they told me it expires in 6 months, so I'll have to pay more and get it there unfortunately

I tried to only post deals that were cheaper or about the same (after coupon) with other places. Bioshock is still significantly cheaper at liongames. MassEffect about the same. Assassin's Creed and Stranglehold I believe may come out to be cheaper at familyvideo.
 
I want to preorder Assassin's Creed but I just preordered Lair from the overstock deal. UGHHH!! I may have to cancel it. Why did I find this deal?
 
Just a quick question for anyone that has a Family Video account. Was just wondering if they possibly take paypal on game purchases?? (Kind of a stupid question guessing they don't, so don't get all pissed at me).

Mass effect after coupon is about the same. Assassin's creed and Stranglehold are cheaper.

How long you think beofre that game is $30? If oblivion is any indication it will take 1.5 years...

edit: ordered it. put the $10 down. This is my first experience with liongames. I was a skeptic when they first popped up, but it seems like they've proven themselves :)

Anyone know the real release date for Assasin's Creed? Liongames and FV have totally different release dates. LG says 9/25 and FV says 12/1.

Can anyone find Family Video's preorder policy? Specifically what happens if a game goes up or down in price after you order it?

Guitar Hero III is mighty cheap, for all systems - EB lists 360/PS3 at $100 and PS2/Wii at $90, I could get the Wii bundle for $75 after coupon here,
 
I'm gonna do all my preorders at familyvideo since lion games deals died.

Anyway, Why does it say that Mass Effect will be shipped in Decemeber when it is indeed being released in November?

I'm still kinda hesitant about ordering mass effect because I don't want it to ship december first if it comes out november 1st
 
Where is FV located and about how long does their 99 cent shipping take to get to the west coast? I'm lookin at stranglehold.

I don't know about the shipping for me though because I ordered Hard Boiled and it shipped last week (released on Tuesday) and I just got it today. May have to go to the next level of shipping for Halo 3. Oh and a note, "new customer" just means new email address. You can use the same credit card # and address/name and just create a new account. I ordered a bunch of DVDs for $3.65 because of this.

this is a good deal. OP should update the first post to include this now that liongames deal is over. Or a new thread should be created. Does anyone know how quickly Family Video ships new releases? I'd like to play Halo 3 pretty close to the release and by that first weekend at the latest!
 
The Stranglehold game is the regular version correct? i.e. not the one with the Hard Boiled movie in it... Anybody know the cheapest price for the limited edition?
 
I have the new Taxi Driver and Inland Empire DVDs prebooked through FV.com so I'll see when they ship. I guess that'd give a good idea for the games as well.

Anyone know if these are B&M too? Theres a FV right around the corner from my house but I haven't been in there.
 
Blockbuster is going to be in trouble if Family Video keeps this up. I recommend Crackdown, its a really fun game. Is Lost Planet any good?
