Far Cry 2 DLC

Is it only available through Steam for PC? I went to the official site and it tells you how to get the DLC for 360 & PS3, but doesn't even mention the PC version.

Also, I own the game for PC, but not on Steam (I bought it retail), so if I buy the DLC from Steam, I shouldn't have any problems using it on my non-Steam product right? Or would I need to own the Steam release of the game?

This Downloadable Content requires the Steam version of Far Cry 2 in order to play.

I've heard there is a "machete hack" you can try in your PC's registry, but I can't say for certain that it works or if it makes your game unstable:

Under "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\UBISOFT\Far Cry 2" the entries "PartnerKey1" and/or "PartnerKey2" get set to 1 [DWORD]. (Btw, add the entry "MachetesKey" and set it to 1 and you can have the Machete menu without going online with your FC2 installation.)

But I have entered this code under "Additional Content" in the game's main menu:

This will unlock nine bonus single-player missions in your game.
