I want to buy Noel's battle attire outfit for FFXIII-2. It costs 240, and I have 160. I don't want to buy the minimum amount of 400 because I don't need that many.

Bing aside, you can always buy 100 points off eBay or post a wanted message in the trading forum.
 
If you are willing to wait, you can always fill out them surveys each month and get 20 MS points on Micrsoft's Xbox website. Join their Xbox Live rewards if you haven't done so.
