fender precision bass

anybody know where to get one of these on the cheap? I've been thinking about picking one up but can't find a decent price for it. I usually see them at the 500+ mark. anything lower would be excellent...



also, since we're getting closer to black friday, would it be best to just get one then? is it still too early to tell?

any info would be appreciated.

You may want to check craigs list for a used one. I still use the same fender Jazz I bought used for 50 bucks 12 years ago

No clue, I usually haggle at my local guitar shop for some great discounts, but a quick search found the Standard one for $424.95-$459.95 (depends on color) w/ free gig bag at zZounds:
