Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus $18.99 or $19.99

nice, ive been wanting this, but not for $35. Glad it finally droped to $20.
I wonder if it went GH or not.
 
You can get this at many BlockBusters in the pre-played 50% off sale (nationwide) for $7.50!

I just picked it up at my BlockBuster and it was mint- $7.92 out the door.

I have seen it in 4 other BB's in Connecticut.

I can assure you it did not go GH :) Hard to believe it took this long for it to drop. It is, minus the usu. grand cutscense, a very uninspried game -- worse than Parasite Eve's rip-off of RE. Think DMC but just boring gameplay -- and a lot less fluidity in action/mvmt.

Kinda like how Ghost Rider rips off GoW -- a like-minded game, different coat, but simply not as fine-tuned.

It sucks through a loudspeaker. Think of a first-person Devil May Cry game where Dante's coat takes up half of the screen and the controls suck, then consider you can't powerup until the end of each level. Also, Cait Sith is in it and has an irish accent.

Sometimes 75% of the screen it taken up. The targetting reticule is almost the size of the whole screen AND there is automatic targeting.

The melee combat is lame, with no lock on for that.

Everything about this game is not even good enough to be called mediocre. Nothing about this game stands out besides it starring Vincent and having the Final Fantasy name attached to it.
 
The soundtrack is really good, and the GCI are amazing. It is still worth playing if you can get it for around $20

I also agree, Parasite Eve is awesome. However, Parasite Eve 2 was very uninspired.
 
used was 17.99 at one EBgames i went to, and 26.99 at another. They had like 5+ copies at each so i'm in no rush to get this game until it goes to like....2

I agree. FF7 is one of my favorite games and I love shooters, so I loved this game in every way. The graphics are nice, the story is cool, while the gameplay is great too. This is one of the few PS2 games lately that I actually sat through an played it until I beat it...I was that drawn in. If you're not a fan of both, chances are you'll hate it. I honestly enjoyed this more than the Devil May Cry series...and I love the DMC series. I payed $20 months ago for this, and it was worth every penny....it deserves more credit than it gets...:applause:
 
I got it for free through EB's B2G1, and I'm having fun with it. It's nothing great, but I don't think it's horrendous.

Definatly jump on that deepdiscount deal, imho.

Edit: Holy shit, incubus. Those prices scream pricemistake...dead rising for 3 bucks? wtf!
