Please note, this is a soft bundle. The FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE Deluxe Edition contents are bundled separately from the Play Arts Kai Cloud Strife & Hardy Daytona.
Final Fantasy 7 is my favorite game of all time. And this is exactly the reason I cancelled my Special edition.Thank you for the heads up Ghaleon. Unfortunately this is a 'fake' collectors edition. It is just the deluxe edition of FF7 remake with a play arts kai statue throw in the shipping box. I was so hopeful when it was announced that there would be a 'super mega awesome edition' and yet here we are.
Thanks for mentioning that. Just checked, and I had one that I ordered in June 2019 coming for $44. Totally forgot and ordered the Deluxe Edition in December as well.Guys/Girls just be careful with any special, complete, collector's editions that pop up from now until release especially with Square-Enix mentioning that physical copies may be hard to obtain.
On another subject, I;ve been holding out on pre-ordering any version of this game because I keep hoping a deal will pop up but it hasn't so far. I missed out on that Amazon price drop a while back which sucks.
I had that early pre-order bonus price on the standard version through Amazon, and when the delay happened Amazon charged my account and used up money I had on my giftcard amount prematurely. Usually they charge when it ships but their system took out the money way ahead of time and I had to cancel it so I lost the discount. Thanks for mentioning that. Yeah, that is sketchy. I feel like the factory they used lost some other orders due to cororavirus and had excess capacity, so SE was able to get more produced. I decided to keep mine partially because of the collectability but given SE's history of some overpriced CEs, I might end up canceling this.geeze.. 3 per person limit as well.. kinda sketchy now
Not sure if the limit really means anything, the week leading up to DQ XI's release the limit was 5 per customer for the DQ XI CE before finally selling out around launch day. DQ XI CE also never sold out during preorders until launch day. It's been a highly valued CE since.Yeah, that is sketchy. I agree with this but will say the Play Arts are substantially larger than Figma figures so it's all dependent on taste. I prefer the higher quality smaller figures a la Figma / SH Figuarts, but I can also say I wouldn't mind the large scale MGSV Venom Snake Play Arts if I could find one at an affordable price. To each their own, but my experience with Play Arts is that they're not figma quality but go for figma prices. But if you want a figure of Square's characters you have no alternative than to pay twice what they're worth for the branding. It is not as though we will ever see a Cloud figure licensed for Nendoroid/Figma/Figuarts figure when they would rather keep it in house with their own line.
