Nice, I was looking for filler to go with some black controllers for my new Wii. Used my $10 off codes and SAVER, which did stack with the $5 off, got a Johnny Bravo and a black nunchuk for $11.75 shipped, and Dodgeball and a black Classic Controller Pro for $16.02. I'll probably stick the games on Craigslist for $4 or $5 each, they should sell for that.

I purchased Puzzle Kingdoms during Steam's Summer Sale for $1.00 and I definitely do not regret it. I think that at $5.00 for a portable DS version, it is still a good value. But more importantly, do you like Puzzle games? Did you play Infinite Interactive's other more well-known title Puzzle Quest?

In some respects, it is very similar to that game, but instead of using the core game play mechanics of Bejeweled, it instead is similar to Pokemon Troizoi. Instead of swapping tile positions, you actually shift entire rows and columns either vertically or horizontally. It also feels slightly different from Puzzle Quest in that instead of focusing solely on the development of your PC, you focus it instead on Hero units that command small squads of soldiers.

I think the only real faults that can be attributed to the game is that the production values do not feel quite as polished as Puzzle Quest 1 & 2, but since it was released at budget pricing at release this can be easily forgiven. The music is still quite good. I prefer the character design and art from the Puzzle Quest games, but the ones in Puzzle Kingdoms are still quite serviceable.

I feel that at $5.00, there is marginal risk in giving it a try if you're curious about it. In the worst case scenario, you can trade it in to Game Stop for a portion of what you paid for it and it will be like a rental. (In fact, if you stack it with a promo where they give you an extra $10 for trading in 3 games, you'll get most of your money back.)
 
Pipe Mania is in stock for $4.99 but when you add it to the cart it is not taking off the $5 ,same with Advance Wars which is back in stock but not taking off the $5. Would have been awesome to get Pipe Mania for free.
 
its not dead but im guessing they fixed it to not give away free games. like, maybe you gotta buy a new game thats at least 5.01 (example) or something now....

Oddly enough, my relatively small order of Puzzle Kingdoms and Half-Minute Hero shipped via UPS even though I used saver shipping.

The games are 4.99 each and the discount brought them to 0.00 (so no tax), and SAVER made shipping also free. Let see how GS will respond to this order! Hmmm

EDIT: Bah, I don't think it went through (or they canceled it)

Nothing under $10 on that list is worth playing. Great for dealers, but the stuff that's ringing up for $5 is worth $5. At least, once Advance Wars went out of stock.
