Finding a Wii U?

What is my best bet on finding a Wii U at normal price at a store? Are preorders going to open up? Will I just need to hunt and hunt after release day? Any suggestions are appreciated. My son wants one and I feel like a failure as a father.

Evidently some Walmarts are still taking preorders for the deluxe model. Try there first, and some Targets may be doing the same. Also, there may be some standard models for sale on day one, but you would probably need to be in line way before they go on sale.

Do you have a Sam's Club? My wife worked at one during the Wii launch and not once did ours get out of stock with the wii and they even had them out and displayed.If you can't find it anyways then check there/
