2D platformers rule, 3D platformers suck it, suck it hard.

Screw you mario 64 and jax and stupidster.
 
While I won't say one sucks (everybody has different tastes), I will say that I find 2d platformers to just be more fun. I find myself wasting a lot of time finding where I'm supposed to head with 3d games--whereas I am rushed right into the action with 2d games. I'll be very interested to see if Princess Toadstool will be a quality game--or just a quickly done game aimed at pulling in girls/women to the DS. Yes--I know men will buy it too, but I have to think it's still an attempt at attracting females (along with Nitendogs).

p.s. hopefully this new forum will alleviate some of the PSP/DS wars postings
