Signed up and was offered a second month for a dollar, but when I completed registration it said I had 1 free month subscription. My info says starts April 7 ends May 7.
(Edit - It's probably because I didn't enter my CC info)

Apple doesn't allow subscription based app services where you're paying a monthly fee, at least not for apps that aren't magazines. So the marvel app does micro transactions and you can buy as many comics as you like, but can't pay a monthly fee to access them all. At least that was what I was told when speaking to a marvel rep.

Nice. My yearly subscription just expired last month and I chose not to renew.

BTW, Captain America (2004) series is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
