If I remember correctly, it's a matrilineal system, so unless your mother is Jewish, you're not Jewish at all. Is that the case?

Hmmm, I took an into to Judaism course a few terms ago as an elective, and I believe you're right. Of course, iirc, I believe you can also be outcasted for marrying outside, so....would that itself dissolve you from being Jewish?
