free domain

i want to create a website and was wondering if any of you know were i can get a free domain or a cheap one, and the place should be a trustworthy site

I know of this one website that is offering free .be domains, but you need to hurry because the offer ends in a couple days. You can register it free for a year, and it is a true TLD. They don't require any ads or anything either.

Click the British flag if it is not in english. If I were you I would choose to use your own nameservers and use www.afraid.org for that ( ns1.afraid.org, ns2.afraid.org, ns3.afraid.org, ns4.afraid.org ) because their built in DNS tools suck.

Just so you can be sure that this is real, here are some of the domains I got from them:

If you want a .com or whatever I'd suggest www.domainsite.com since they are only $8/year.
