This is a smart strategy. If they get you interested in their franchise then you might consider the sequels. Why can't other publishers think of things like this?

Other than the original C&C, ive never played the other 2 and am looking forward to trying them for the first time.

I love the old games more than the new. I all ready own the first decade and got sick of the franchise with the originals left and EA took over.
