I played that game years ago, and it's honestly not that bad if you like breakout.

My tastes tend to be a little different than the norm, but I have to say I think the Ricochet series are the best Arkanoid type games I've ever played. I absolutely love those types of games and I'm not exactly sure why this series is my favorite. I think it's mostly about feel, pacing and a good level of difficulty. It's probably a little easier than many of the other Breakout clones out there, but that's good for me since I'm not the most skilled gamer around.

Agreed. I bought the game many years ago and there are very few Breakout/Arkanoid clones out there that are this good.

Definately worth the free download, I mean, what else can you get for free these days? Plus its great if your a general fan of the genre.

* edit - just played a few rounds and its not that bad. The powerups add more variety to the gameplay. If you dont like this, its because you dont like breakout or arkanoid. This game isnt any worse than those.
