Apple isn't giving away anything. The people who put up the games decide pricing.

There are a lot of free games. It will be a huge list if it is ever completed. I wouldn't count games like Zombie Farm and Smurf Village because those are the type of game where you can barely do anything unless you buy something with $$$

I can't speak for most of these, but Space Deadbeef has always been free and Smurf Village is a microtransaction game.

I'm just trying to help the community if some of these aren't complete games let me know or if you have suggestions. Some weren't my kind of game but I know some people on here have kids or play these games so I thought they could use them. Thanks for the feedback.

You should look for the iPod/iPhone/iPad thread in the main game deals forum. There are dedicated users posting free games on a daily basis.
