The only differences I noticed were the theatrical version being included and perhaps a small bump in audio quality. Anyone notice any other differences between the HDDVD and bluray?

If there's any other blurays worth adding, let me know and I'll add them to the OP.

I already have these on DVD. Are they worth the upgrade? I watch them every year or sometimes every other year. I bought 15 movies so far with the Upgrade and Save promotion and I'll be buying more.

Is there any chance that someday there will be a complete Halloween bluray boxset like the Best Buy exclusive Nightmare on Elmstreet collection? Or are they all from different movie studios?
 
I found this Halloween 3 pack today at Best Buy. Apparently Best Buy stores seem to be putting this on the shelf a few weeks early. It contains Halloween Curse of Michael Myers, Halloween H20, and Halloween Resurrection. It rang up $7.99 at Best Buy.

Is this worth it? I'm trying to find info about the video quality but all I can find is one amazon review. He says he got the information from bluray.com, but I cant find it.
 
I've read the reviews on www.blu-ray.com and also what people are saying on the forums, and apparently there is only a very marginal improvement on Halloween 4 and 5, with 4 being slightly worse. I really wanted these in HD, especially at this price, but it doesn't seem worth it unfortunately. A few years ago at Walmart I got the DivX versions on DVD for $5, included both in one package. I think I'm just going to stick to those for now.

I'm tempted on getting Evil Dead, but I got Anniversary edition 3 disc on DVD and with the remake coming...well, I'm sure Sam Raimi has another rerelease planned.
 
Thanks for the post. Already have The Frighteners on Blu, but went with an upgrade to my Evil Dead DVD. Read the picture quality is amazing. Worthy price for me, no need to wait for any re-releases.
