Damnit, I just bought Heavy Rain and Uncharted 2 from Amazon's b1g1 50% off, oh well only lost out on a few bucks. Is GoW3 worth it at that price?

Possibly dumb question: is it like a grocery store where you don't HAVE to buy '2 for $12' and can get individual Blu-ray titles for 6?

Not so dumb. Fry's computer register systems were too stupid to handle the "2 for $12" pricing in the past. So, instead the system prices all of the titles at $6.

However, I have seen some fairly complex pricing that works properly in their system in the last 6 months or so. So, it's POSSIBLE that they have fixed that deficiency. But my gut tells me...they haven't and you can buy those titles at $6 each.
 
are these prices only for instore pick up or do they count for online as well? cuz i went online and the prices havent switched over to these...

Usually frys ad pricing is for in store only as far as I know.

question, so i bought an xbox 360 last night from gamestop and i found out today that it's on sale at fry's for 299 including a 50 dollar gift card. question is can i buy the one at fry's and return the 360 i bought from fry's to gamestop for a full refund?

yea why not? the boxs are the same at every store (assuming its the same version)
 
I'm thinking The Quick and the Dead and Southland Tales. I hate Southland Tales, but I feel I should own it so I can make others watch it.

I picked up the Roxio Game Capture with :ps3: Black Ops. I PM'ed Black Ops to $50 (Amazon's price) since Fry's in-store now PMs internet retailer's price and with the rebate (required to buy the Game Capture and game costing $49 or more on same receipt) I will get $20 back in 8-10 weeks making Black Ops only $30. Pretty cool, thanks.

Actually, that might be tough. I'm almost positive that Gamestop and Fry's (actually, all retailers) track the serial number on the receipts. If they don't match, you're gonna have a hell of a time returning it.

20 is a nice price for Uncharted 2. Does anybody know if Frys ads are included in any type of mail/newpaper? If I can price match it, it would be nicer than actually going to the store which is pretty far.
 
They're printed too. Check the back page of the sports section of your newspaper if there's a local Fry's nearby. That's where the LA Times and OC Register prints theirs.

heavy rain and uncharted 2 is tempting @ 20$. I was hoping for Amazon or Gamestop to have that price as I still have some giftcards left

The ad comes in the AZ paper on Friday. And then have back page ads on the business section here. The Frys nearest me is an hour drive which defeats any savings with gas. I'm going to get Target or Best Buy to price match the Heavy Rain.

I live in SD. My friend has the ad so we're gonna price match it at Best Buy. Hopefully, they have a non-greatest hits copy. Though, I have yet to see a GH of this game or Heavy Rain. I always see the regular copy with the red sticker. I hope they just continue to do that in the future.

if it helps, I showed customer service the ad on my phone. Google "weekly fry's ad"and any of the local newspaper ads will have scans.

I got one and it was a clear box with a red sticker on the top.
