A friend of mine has several of the pieces of pencil art drawn by Marvel's Adi Granov (he does a ton of covers and did the concept art for the Iron Man movies as well) used by Capcom to create the cover for MvC 3. The individual pieces are approx. 11 x 17 inches, and then they were stitched together by Capcom to make the final cover image and were colored digitally.
I bought the Viewtiful Joe and Amaterasu (from Okami) section, one of the less detailed ones honestly, and he's still got some really excellent ones left (Hulk, Dante, Morrigan, Wolverine, Chun Li, Deadpool, and a few more).
