I'm reading it as they check your ID to prove you should be there. Like did you have to register or something to get the tix?

wouldnt it be a waste of tickets though for people who win but can't make it? They wouldnt be able to give them away even

Well I'd think those who did win but couldn't go just wouldn't register by midnight on the 14th. Then I thought (from what I read in the rules) they went to the next people in line. I'm just making sure because I actually have my wife wanting to do this (SHOCKING AS HELL!!) and I want to make sure they'll let me use them if I win the auction. Wonder if they have a number to call or something.

If I remember correctly, the rules on the contest site specifically said that the tickets would not be transferrable.
