Just bought a couple of DVD collectors tins from FYE with mail-in rebates... according to the receipt it wants the original UPC, but again, tins. For anyone who has done FYE rebates, will they accept the sticker with their price tag that's on all of their shrink wrapping or am I going to have to hack these tins up?

They should accept the yellow sticker as a proof of purchase (have with me in the past) but to be safe when it comes to FYE, I always make photocopies of everything I send since a couple of times my rebates have been "never recieved"
Yellow FYE UPC stickers only. I've done plenty of rebates with them successfully (10+) and have yet to send them a real UPC.
Best way to do it:
Get an 8.5x11 piece of paper
Staple filled-out rebate to upper right side
Staple receipt to upper left side
Put yellow FYE UPC sticker on a small piece of paper/cardstock
Staple paper w/FYE UPC to lower corner
Write your name & address on an empty spot (or stick a return-address label on it if you have them)
Tri-fold all and stuff it in a business-sized envelope
The main reason to do it this way is so when they open it up, there's no chance of them missing/losing anything you've sent. Neat and tidy.
