I spied a new coupon at the counter of a local Wherehouse that stated "TAKE $5 OFF EVERY $25 USED PURCHASE".

One coupon per customer.
Offer valid only on purchases of Used Cds, DVDs and Games.
Offer good on pre-tax transaction amount.
Offer not valid online.

As frequenters of these stores know you can only expect the unexpected but this is the official party line at this time.

Basically a coupon for 20% off your purchase which is good because it is for games, music and movies and you don't have to buy 2 to get anything buy 3 to get something or buy 0 to get nothing.

Hmm ... is this the kind of thing we're going to need an actual coupon for, or will it be something in their system? Or YMMV?
 
Probably won't need a coupon for in store (I'm sure there'll be big signs everywhere like they've had for their other promotions recently). However, I wonder if there will be an online coupon code for the same thing. Anyone know?
 
Interesting. I recently found an FYE store and plan to drag a ton of old CDs there...

I may clean house afterwards. :)
