FYI: Digital Tablets are great substitutes for mouse!

If you're not playing your PC games on a TV because you don't know how you could get a mouse to work in such a setup, then I have a recommendation for you. Use a graphic/digital tablet. I got Wacom's small and medium Bamboo tablets and the small one makes a great mouse. You can configure them to have a position on the tablet correspond to a position on the screen or you can configure them as mice, in that the position of the cursor on the screen changes only with the movement of the pen across the tablet.

Most importantly, the pen doesn't have to touch the tablet for the cursor to move (in either mode). The pen's position can be detected as it hovers as much as an inch over the board. The touching of the pen on the board is same as clicking and there are additional buttons on the pen and tablet whose function is configurable.

This may be common knowledge, but I wasn't aware of it, so I thought I should spread the knowledge.

I recommend this one (costs $55 on amazon):
