Game boy player rare/expensive?

What is the going rate for the game boy player? Ebay and the amazon.com marketplace have them going for over $70.... I didn't think it was that rare... what gives?

I just checked the complete auctions for the game boy player and they are around the $40-50 range. Check your local GS/EB games and they might have one in stock new being $50 and used $30 (I think thats right for used)

You can still buy one new from Nintendo.com for 50 so I would say they arent rare yet.
