Enslaved and Mafia 2 are both worth picking up. I'm playing through Mafia now, and need to go back and try to platinum Enslaved. Both have a shit-ton of collectibles, and I fucking *HATE* collectibles. Besides that, I thoroughly enjoyed Enslaved (one of my favorite games this year) and Mafia 2 is, at the very least, worth 10 or so hours.
 
Damn! GameFly has been blowing it up lately with these deals! Bought Spidey and Bulletstorm when they were on sale a couple weeks ago, and just bought Enslaved and Mafia II tonight. Upset I missed out on Dead Rising II the other night, though. Hope there are more sick deals to come.
 
Anyone know if Mafia II is a mandatory HDD install for PS3?? And if so, how large?

(Man, I hate running low on space on my O.G. 60 gig with all the bells and whistles before they started gutting the PS3 of all its cool features. But, I'm scared to put in a larger HDD.)

Barely. The world is kinda free roam in between missions, but there isn't much to do. Like no side missions or anything.
 
Enslaved tanked in price pretty quickly, but it was a decent enough game. A little framerate stuttering on the PS3 version when I was playing through it, but overall it's a good game.

I haven't heard much of anything about Mafia II, aside from it being very, very linear.:cry: Shame really. I would love a GTA styled game in that era to putz around in the open world with Tommy guns and the like for weapons.;)
 
Everyone go buy Enslaved! Unfortunately it's not supporting the amazing devs behind it, but it's truly the best underrated game I've played this generation. Spread the word :D

Yep, it's very linear. But it almost makes up for it with how amazing the world is to look at. There's so much stuff in the environment, but sadly no missions to do or anything
 
Neither for me tonight but good prices. Enjoyed Enslaved for a couple playthroughs and bought Mafia II Platinum Hits from Amazon for $15, figured at least some of the DLC was worth it.
 
Very tempting but i am in a position where i will only allow myself to buy one of em. Always wanted to try Mafia II but people here seem to think Enslaved is a better choice.
 
Still wondering if I will ever get my Spiderman. Almost been 2 weeks and nothing.

Luckly no buys for me tonight. Played and beat both already but they are both good games. Good price on Mafia but so-so price on Enclaved. I seen it used $10 at a few other places and Blockbuster being one of them which had 10+ copies in stock.
 
it took all of 10 posts for you guys to talk me into these games. getting both for under $20 didn't hurt either.
 
Enslaved is WAY worth that $10. I got that game around the holiday season last year from my sister. It was the only thing I actually wanted. It's an awesome experience.

In other news, I may have to pick up Mafia II for that price, although I had no interest in it before, haha. Urgh! These Gamefly prices!
 
I enjoyed both of these games very much. Solid stories, a few imperfections, but great worlds and experiences. While I concede that neither is an A+ title, I enjoyed both at the B+ level...

Enslaved is awesome, but the ending isn't the greatest. Could have done so much better. Probably because they planned a sequel but unfortunately the game didn't sell that well I've read :(

Great prices for both, but too bad I already own them. Wonder if these copies of Mafia 2 will be vanilla or include all the DLC.

I was going to pass up on Mafia 2 because I thought it was $9.99 (yeah, I'm THAT cheap) :p but I ended up getting one for each system (1 for my cuz) and enslaved on 360 :cool:
 
Mafia 2 is a solid game which is nowhere as good as the original. With that said, it's totally worth it at $7.99.

Enslaved on the other hand I couldn't get into but I know many cags who really liked it.
