man im so glad bulletstorm ps3 sold out before i got home from work..already picked up rdr undead nightmare and crysis 2 earlier today when the sale went live. that being said, come on knights contract 9.99!
 
The reason why all these games are out because some idiots here posted them on Slickdeals.

When are they going to learn?

And before you ask me how I know that they had copied from us here, and not discovering the deals from Gamefly themselves...it's due to the fact that they listed their games in the exact order that we have here.

So glad I checked this thread shortly after 8 -- picked up Castlevania to (hopefully) replace the non-working disc they sent me last time around. Finger crossed on this one!
 
Broke down and got Duke Nukem. Personally can't justify getting Homefront since people aren't saying it's that great based on reviews I've been skimming through. Plus with the short single player it's not for me because I'm one of the few that isn't huge on online multiplayer games with little time for single player. Seems like an interesting FPS game but even at $13 I can't make the jump unless someone can convince me otherwise.

It was because yesterday there was some technical difficulties, that's why cheapy didn't know what or if there was going to be a sale. I guess they fixed it late last night or this morning, so nobody noticed until someone here said they saw it on GF twitter.
 
I'll bite on Brink and Homefront at $8 and $10 respectively, but they're a little too much right now. I can wait. Couldn't pass on Bulletstorm or Duke Nukem Forever at $10, and that's on top of getting AC:B and Crysis 2 today.. Ouch.
 
Well, I picked up RF: Armageddon $1.77 after 10% off, and $10 in GF dollars. I'll end up trading it in at Best Buy for $17, a $15 profit, so I'm pretty happy, although Crysis 2 was my first choice, but it was sold out already! Happy hunting!

i figure its a helluva deal because it also includes dead space extraction which is $15 in and of it self.

This is true. Probably very close to being signed into legislation; it's unfortunate that so many people (upwards of 200,000 have been laid off by USPS since late-2007) are having to lose their jobs; jobs which many of them had/have established careers in; most of whom are unable to secure employment today (something like 40-45% of laid off USPS workers, since they had the major cuts in '07, have yet to become gainfully employed again; most of them have difficulty finding viable/competitive employment due to their Age (and Age alone), they ran out of unemployment benefits x three (3) years ago (most of them) and still can't find anything comparable to the USPS (which, does pay very well and offer outstanding health/retirement benefits)....

Not sure about extraction, I think that's only with the CE.

pretty sure all copies of the ps3 version were the 'limited edition' with extraction. i just picked up DS2 new from EA's lightning deals or whatever off of facebook for $15 a month ago, and it came with extraction.

The deals go live at 8pm EST.
Only reason Crysis 2, Red Dead Redemption Undead Nightmare, and Assassin's Creed Brotherhood got released midday today before the 8pm EST release is because the website was having issues so the deals didn't get released on time for Thursday. Though all these deals will last through the weekend or until they run out before we get new ones.

OMG! I had almost similar ultimatum from my wife too! She asked me to control myself! :cool: I told her to look at the money I saved, had I bought these games new. She just stared at me. LOL!
 
I need Castlevania 360 to come back in stock so I can finally get a copy of Bulletstorm. The copy of BS that I ordered over 2 weeks ago never showed up. I was issued a refund after contacting customer service.

*edit* Castlevania:LoS is back in stock. I ordered with Bulletstorm to get Priority shipping.

How quick of a game is Duke Nukem?
 
Gamefly is hands down the best for buying used games. I bought a few games from them recently and the manual, case, and disc's are always in great condition...no annoying used stickers to pull off like with Gamestop. WIsh I bit on Portal 2 when it was $20 for the PS3!!!

I recieved the Limited Edition of Bulletstorm for PS3

Really want Crysis 2 at that price but I think I'm gonna spend the $15 on the new NBA Jam instead...can't wait for the next sale though!
